what is acupuncture graphic
June is a fully qualified medical herbalist, having completed a 4-year degree full-time course at Middlesex University. Since gaining her Licentiate in Acupuncture from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA), she has continued to explore the diversity of approaches and theories in preventive medicine to include Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese style acupuncture and Western science.

Her integrated approach to practice is a unique blend of scientific models and traditional methods. For example, cupping and moxibustion are used together with acupuncture for greater effects in restoring balance and healing.

June has a grounded knowledge in phytopharmacology and herb and drug interactions, including Western medicine and Traditional Chinese energetic principles of diagnosis and treatment. These are all essential aspects integral to her successful practice.

She has also completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Nutrition with a special focus in women’s health, such as fertility problems, pregnancy care and menopause. Her other areas of special interest also include stress and stress-related problems, weight management; paediatrics and facial rejuvenation acupuncture as an alternative to Botox and plastic surgery.
